CDA on team appointed to design the public realm and landscape at Bishopsgate Goodsyard

Spacehub, Chris Dyson Architects, Studio Weave and Kinnear Landscape Architects have been appointed to design the public realm and landscape for Bishopsgate Goodsyard in east London.

The 4ha site at the frontier between the City and Shoreditch, is being masterplanned by Farrels with the first phase designed by PLP Architecture and FaulknerBrowns.

Half of the land will be park and public realm designed by the Spacehub-led team, with the planning application due to be submitted early next year.

Spacehub director Giles Charlton said: ‘The site provides an opportunity to create a rich and diverse 3-dimensional public realm that grows from its historical roots to provide an exciting new urban environment with a substantial new park as its centrepiece.’

Bishopsgate Goodsyard was one of the developments that sparked the creation of the East End Preservation Society earlier this month.
