Hugenot place

This development was largely established in the 1970’s providing commercial accommodation to decant workspace from the Huguenot houses of the Fournier street conservation area and as such permitting the gentrification of that area, which has proven to be a successful strategy, for both the commercial and the residential facilities of the neighbourhood.

Our work covered an overall design concept for the development bringing it together visually to work as a whole without destroying its essential character and form our scope included specifying the colors, signage, planting, new toilet facilities, security and gates, the entire yard was also re-surfaced to create a more uniform aesthetic.

We were subsequently asked to carry out a planning application for two contemporary mews live / work units.
