Michael joined CDA in August 2015, having recently graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a Diploma in Architecture. He had previously studied in Dublin, earning a BSc in Architectural Technology. He formerly worked at ODOS Architects in Dublin, an award winning practice specialising in highly-contemporary residential and commercial projects, and for Omer Arbel, a multi-award-winning Canadian architect and industrial designer.
While at university in Glasgow, he was involved with 2 other students in the design and illustration of a publication on the Reid Building by Steven Holl Architects called ‘Form Fabric detail’, in which the building was explored through a series of photographs, drawings and invited essays. The publication was awarded the Mackintosh School of Architecture Award for Best Research Project, and was later reviewed in Architecture Today.
