Applicants must have at least three years post Part III experience.

We are looking for a strong designer with good communication skills and experience of taking projects through all RIBA work stages, from commission to hand over.

Chris Dyson Architects work predominantly with private clients, and we also work with commercial developers and local authorities. We enjoy working on challenging projects of all scales. We have built a reputation for working with heritage assets and on constrained, sensitive sites, maximising value for clients. We have a varied portfolio of completed and live projects, spanning private and multi-unit residential buildings, offices, commercial buildings. We pride ourselves on a high degree of attention to detail and a flair for innovative and modern design.

The position will require somebody who can manage a team of architects and assistants, ultimately reporting to Chris Dyson and senior directors on a weekly basis. It will require experience of working simultaneously on multiple projects at different stages of their development. The successful candidate will be expected to take projects from concept design to site, so English law experience of detailed design and construction work is important.

Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have:

• At least three years post Part III experience
• ARB registration
• Experience of managing a team of architects and assistants
• Experience of coordinating a design team
• Experience of successfully managing client relations
• Experience of working at all RIBA stages
• Excellent design and presentation skills including free hand drawing
• Understanding of UK procurement and construction contracts
• UK driving licenCe is a further virtue!

Remuneration dependent upon experience.
