AJ Small Projects Nomination | Worthy Ken House

CDA’s extension for Worthy Ken House has been nominated for the AJ Small Projects Awards 2016.

\This residential project extends and converts a compact 3 bedroom Victorian end terrace house into a bright and spacious 5 bedroom family home.

The extension is clad in charred cedar weatherboarding, a Japanese technique known as Shou Sugi Ban which extends the life of the boards and makes them much more resistant to insects and decay.

CDA have previously won this award in 2014 for the House in Wapping project.
