Roger Street was a vacant commercial building near Theobalds Road and Holborn tube station that was successfully converted into five high end residential units including a top floor duplex unit with roof terrace.

The original building was constructed in the early 1980’s, lacked character and was utilitarian in nature.

A full internal reconfiguration created a dramatic communal stairwell and spacious apartments with full height glazed sliding doors and pivot windows.

Externally the buildings appearance was improved with a zinc clad rooftop extension that houses the top floor of the duplex, and new glass and hardwood inserts within the recesses formed by the previous glazing articulation. Clever and inventive use of an existing building created a profitable and attractive small residential development in a highly desirable part of the city.
